Hello. I am Leila and I offer physiotherapy assessment and treatment for children of all ages and abilities.

QUALIFICATIONS: BSc Physiotherapy, Paediatric Bobath

I have over 10 years of experience working in community children’s physiotherapy assessing and treating a range of conditions and difficulties. 

The therapies I offer and my special interests: I am a Bobath trained therapist and use those principles within all my treatment sessions with children who have neurodevelopmental conditions including cerebral palsy. Early intervention is key for this group of children. Along with my knowledge of cerebral palsy goes the pre and post op rehab for children going through SDR (Selective Dorsal Rhizotomy). Motor coordination (also known as Developmental Coordination Disorder/Dyspraxia is a special interest area for me. 

Outside of work I play, umpire and coach hockey, and enjoy spending time outdoors with my two busy boys.

Why I do what I do: I am very lucky to enjoy my work and seeing children make progress with their skills and goals is immensely satisfying. A child that grows in confidence is a wonderful thing.
