What is Therapeutic Yoga?

The aim is to provide a combined treatment that is very much personalised to your needs and to restore your health and wellness levels.  Our Therapeutic Yoga practitioner Louise integrates the traditional mind-body approach of yoga with her extensive physiotherapy expertise to help you feel better.

What conditions is Therapeutic Yoga used to treat?

Therapeutic Yoga is especially effective in helping people recover from, or live with, injury or illness. Louise can use Therapeutic Yoga to:

  • Alleviate symptoms of illness or injury
  • Give you a greater range of movement and flexibility
  • Reduce feelings of stress and anxiety
  • Promote positive coping strategies

How does Therapeutic Yoga work?

It combines hands-on healing, stretching, breathing, and supported poses with Louise's physiotherapy know-how in a gentle yet effective way.  The result is your body and mind feel more balanced, relaxed yet stronger.

Prices

Therapeutic Yoga exercises may be offered to you as part of any Physiotherapy treatment you receive at Bradley Stoke Physio if your therapist believes it will benefit you. As such, there is no stand alone cost for Therapeutic Yoga when used as a treatment. Click here to see our price for Physiotherapy treatment.

Louise also runs Therapeutic Yoga courses and 1-to-1 Therapeutic Yoga sessions for those who feel this approach would help them.  For more information about Bradley Stoke Physio's Therapeutic Yoga courses and sessions click here.

Who'd have thought I'd be comparing one to one yoga with Louise as more relaxing than drinking a large glass of rose in the sunshine after a hard day at work .... but it was! (At at 9.45 in the morning too!) Bliss, Relaxing and Soul Soothing.
