Following the success of our new Chair-based Yoga classes launched earlier this year, news of the next course starting on Wednesday 25th September has spread fast! As a result, we just have a few spaces left and we'd love you to join us.
Why Chair-based Yoga?
This specialised version of Yoga is particularly beneficial if you:
- have a limited range of movement
- find moving from sitting or lying on the floor to standing difficult
Unlike a conventional yoga class, there is no getting up and down from the floor, or sitting cross-legged.
The entire class can be practiced sitting on a chair, using the chair as the base for seated postures, and as a support if you want to do some of the class on your feet.
Taught by Eve Douglas
Eve has taught yoga for nearly 25 years, and is particularly interested in working with older adults and those with specific health-related conditions such as Multiple Sclerosis (MS), Fibromyalgia, Arthritis and Osteoporosis. Eve is a qualified Yoga teacher and has additional training in Gentle Years Yoga©, including Chair-based Yoga and Yoga for Healthy Lower Backs.

10.30am-11.30am in Bradley Stoke
All equipment is provided. Please dress in clothing that allows for ease of movement.
