Susie Baker

Alexander Technique Teacher

Hi, I'm Susie Baker, the Alexander Technique Teacher here at Bradley Stoke Physio & Health.

Qualifications: MSTAT

As a Member of the Society of Teachers of the Alexander Technique, I have completed a recognised course in the teaching of AT and adhere to the highest standards of professional practice.

The therapies I offer and my special interests: I offer Alexander Technique lessons to help people improve their posture and overcome back pain, neck pain and other muscular-skeletal problems. The Alexander Technique can give long-term relief from persistent and recurring pain, soreness or tension, and helps towards a life of freedom and ease.

As a keen runner, I am also an "Art of Running" coach. I apply the Technique to help runners achieve what they would like from their running, with a focus on injury prevention and peak performance.

Why I do what I do: Learning the Alexander Technique can be a life-changing experience. It was for me. I suffered for years from low back pain twinges that disappeared after having a course of lessons. Now I am passionate about helping people discover the benefits of Aexander Technique.  As a  practical, clinically proven method, Alexander Technique gives you the tools to improve your posture and to sit, stand and move better for a healthy and active lifestyle.

Why book an appointment with me: If you are looking for a long-term solution to pain and discomfort and achieve a better health and sense of well-being, I can help set you on the right path.  You will discover a new way to be more resilient and confident to make the changes you feel will improve your quality of life.

The Alexander Technique makes a real difference to my often tense and busy life. Its thoughtful approach has made me calmer, improved my concentration and given me a clearer sense of my own wellbeing. I am grateful for it.
