Hello, I'm Hugh, the Osteopath based here at Bradley Stoke Physio.
Hugh qualified as an Osteopath in 1991 (after a first career in social housing). He's been working in private practice in the Bristol area since 1992, and an NHS-funded project in east Bristol for the last 10 years. He's a fairly traditional practitioner, firmly rooted in a sound appreciation of the bio-mechanics of the whole body. As such, Hugh's a general practitioner rather than a specialist - though with a particular interest in the ergonomics of daily life (including work).
He's a committed member of the Western Counties Society of Osteopaths ( WCSO), the Bristol section of the National Council for Osteopathic Research ( NCOR), and theBritish Osteopathic Association ( BOA). As all osteopaths, Hugh's registered with the statutory body, the General Osteopathic Council ( GOsC).
When not at work, Hugh's interests are family, playing a concertina, singing, and trying to make his allotment grow things!
