Hi, I'm Chris, Bradley Stoke Physio's touch-rugby playing Physiotherapist. My aim is to keep you active and doing what you love to do....
QUALIFICATIONS: BSc; MCSP
The therapies I offer and my special interests: I am proud to be a Chartered Physiotherapist and enjoy having specific knowledge and skills to help ease pain or discomfort, rehabilitate sports injuries, improve movement dysfunctions and generally make peoples lives more comfortable. As well as helping people recover from sports injuries, I find that I am particularly interested in treating people with pain in, or problems with, their spine, legs or feet or who are living with breathing problems.
Outside of work, my interests surround sport. At a younger age I played county level rugby. Now in more recent years I have kept up this interest by playing touch rugby regularly and working for three years as a Physiotherapist for a semi professional rugby team in Cardiff.
Why I do what I do: I had a keen interest in sport from a very young age and this lead to a a desire to know more about human anatomy and a particular interest in sports injury and rehabilitation. I studied Sports & Exercise Science initially at university and later went on to qualify as a Physiotherapist.
Why book an appointment with me: I am friendly and easy going so you'll feel comfortable in the sessions I provide. My aim is to keep you doing what you want to be doing as much as possible during the course of your treatment so I will give you exercises as 'homework' with the aim of getting the results you want quicker. Combined with the the treatment I provide (all based on the latest thinking and what works) in your session, you'll be feeling better very soon.
As a side note, I provide evening appointments twice weekly.
